By using www.allsale.co.nz or our mobile applications (together, the "Platform"), you agree to the practices described in this policy. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account. Listing and transaction information: details of items you list, buy, or enquire about, delivery addresses, and communications between buyers and sellers. Business information: business name, NZBN, address, and payout details if you register as a business or partner vendor. Payment information: payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers (such as Stripe). We never store your full card details — only the last 4 digits are visible to us. Technical information: device type, browser, IP address, approximate location (country/region), and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies. 2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use your personal information to: operate and improve the Platform; create and manage your account; publish your listings and connect buyers with sellers; process payments, subscriptions, and refunds; verify businesses and partner vendors; respond to support requests; detect and prevent fraud, spam, and prohibited listings; send service messages and, with your consent, marketing communications; and comply with our legal obligations. 3. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: other users, to the extent needed to complete an enquiry or transaction (e.g. your name and contact details are shared with a seller when you enquire); service providers who help us run the Platform (payment processors, hosting, email delivery, image storage, analytics), under confidentiality obligations; and government agencies or law enforcement where required by law. 4. COOKIES We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the Platform is used, and improve performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Platform may not work correctly without them. 5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure which may be located outside New Zealand. Wherever your information is held, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by safeguards comparable to those required under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. 7. YOUR RIGHTS Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct it if it is wrong; and ask us to delete your account and associated personal information. CHILDREN The Platform is not intended for people under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 9.
